3 weeks ago my hard drive crashed. My computer was acting funny for a few weeks, randomly crashing. I knew something was wrong. I thought I had everything backed up on my iPod. All my photos and designs were in the Photo folder. I had an alias on my desktop, which I dragged into the iPod to back up. But since it was just an alias, I didn't not copy the contents. Needless to say, when my hard drive went, I lost EVERYTHING. dA is the only record of my art for the past 2 years. I also lost all my software. I cannot download here at school either, so I have to wait awhile before I can get PS again. As far as my art goes. I did finally get a D70s

Ive had dA for a while and never did a journal. Im at mid term of my first semester as a graphic design student. I love it. I am so happy I am finally in the major I want to be. Right now I am taking Design I and Drawing 1. Drawing has challenged me a lot. And I found I have a higher work ethic for that than anything else. I can just give up so easily on a paper I dont want to write. But I spend hours prefecting a drawing that I despise. Design is a fun class, there are only 4 of us in the class though. I think I am doing pretty well in it too. Its funny how many common sense things I learned in the first two weeks. And how they make me feel
